Paragliding at Farleton Knott in the Lake District
A short paragliding flight from Farleton Knott in Cumbria, UK. Farleton is a familiar landmark for anyone travelling north on the M6, located just to the side of Junction 36 for the south lakes. Its my first attempt at video using my new gopro HD camera and editing it into some sort of eligable movie. Hopefully next time I can get more varied angles to make it more interesting. Paragliding Orographic Cloud at Beer Head, Devon. Bob Moore
Lovely flight from this Devon and Somerset Condors site in Devon on 2nd May 2008. This is a nice 10k run from Beer Head to Sidmouth (20 k out and back) soaring in front of and occasionally on top of, or through orographic cloud on the cliffs. Best height about 1300 feet above sea level. Awesome day! (This version quick edit from 11m 30 to 10 mins for u tube limit. Longer version on Google Video.
