A Powered Paragliding (PPG) flight at the 16th annual Parrsboro Festival of Flight (May 21, 2919) . It was a great long weekend of flying which included PPG, Freeflight Paragliding and Hang Gliding. The weather and the scenery were beautiful and I believe all the pilots got a chance to fly. The festival takes place in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia on the long weekend in May of each year – Ted D’Eon (www.ted.ca)

In order to take powered paragliding to the next level of high speed and smaller gliders they must be able to find a way to launch them in no wind situations. Here for the first time a paramotor is launched on Skikes. Kind of like wheeled skis they offer quite a bit of stability while making launching at high speeds completely possible. The sport of powered paragliding is a total blast. As long as you get proper equipment and training the safety is incredible.
