Paragliding at Eggishorn

We have been visiting one of the most famous James Bond locations ever: The Aletsch Glacier in Switzerland. It was such beautiful flying, you had to concentrate much but it paid off in a stunning view and you could see some of the locations where they have shot the JB-movie “On her Majesty’s Secret Service”. Just fabulous!

Paragliding Mt. Pilatus

Mount Pilatus (named after a legend regarding the burial of Pontius Pilate) is the monstrosity that crowns Lucerne’s (Switzerland) skyline at 7000 feet. After two gondola rides up (the second of which feels much like a circus ride as the bottom seems to “drop out”), if you’re not in the mood to take the 48% grade cog railway down, there’s always paragliding.
